When 1000Volt asked us to help on the Danino Bottle commercial, first we started working on the rig of the 3D Dino character. In order to ease the animation process we designed user interface and auto IK/FK tools. Other than that, we also used stretch rigs for the purpose of giving toon feeling. We wanted to create dynamics for the hair to make it look smooth and natural. For the render process, next to using an HDRI map to generate realistic lighting, we also created a light setup to give it a kick. We avoided any dark areas and used subsurface scattering in order to contribute to the smoothness.
